I first stayed at Camp John Hay as an American diplomat 40 years ago and staying at the Manor was almost as good. Great memories

I like the hotel, having stayed before.
I like the hotel, having stayed before. The restaurant and bar area is very good, but the check in spoilt the occasion.
Check in was 2pm, we arrived at about 3:15, queued for over 20 minutes to check in, only to find they did not have our reservation, it took well over an hour to sort it out, after which no apology or free bottle of wine etc was offered. The whole process was amateurish to say the least. We were not told at any stage what the issue was.

The room was not worth it...they should upgrade their rooms. Ac must be installed
The buffet breakfast was ok but not amazing...staff are accomodating but less knowledgeable with regards to the foods on the set buffet. Flies are everywhere, so disgusting!!!
UnComfortable rooms... bed bugs on the bed, pillows, blanket the carpet was so dirty. Rooms dusty! Not worth the pay!!! Paid 29k for 2 nights (suite room)!!! Very disappointing! CR was disgusting!
